These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Bolsillo mobile app and this website (together, the "Service"), provided by GEEKDEV TECHNOLOGIES, SRL ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
1. License to use the app
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Bolsillo on Apple devices that you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell or distribute the app except as permitted by law.
2. Bolsillo is not financial advice
Bolsillo is a personal record-keeping tool. It is not a bank, it is not a financial adviser, and nothing in it is financial, tax, investment or legal advice. Every figure in the app comes from what you enter, so it can only be as accurate as your own entries. Always check your bank's or card issuer's own statements before making a decision that matters. Reports, budgets and goals are there to help you look at your own records — they are not a forecast and not a recommendation.
3. Optional Apple Pay logging
Bolsillo can log an Apple Pay payment through an automation you set up yourself in Apple's Shortcuts app. Whether a payment is reported at all depends on your bank, your card network and iOS — some card issuers never report to Shortcuts, and the automation only runs while your phone is unlocked. This feature is a convenience, not a complete record: it may miss payments or record them with the wrong details, and it is your responsibility to check what was logged.
4. Your data is yours to keep — and to back up
Bolsillo stores your ledger on your device. Please keep your own backups: turn on iCloud backup, or export your ledger to a file, and do it regularly. We have no copy of your data, so we cannot recover anything lost with a lost, broken or reset device, and deleting the app removes the copy stored on it.
5. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and not to misuse it — including by attempting to disrupt the Service, access it through unauthorised means, or infringe the rights of others.
6. Purchases and subscriptions
The everyday essentials of Bolsillo are free. Bolsillo Premium is an auto-renewing subscription, offered on a monthly and a yearly plan.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- Where a free trial is offered, any unused part of it is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
- Auto-renewing subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store account settings.
- Purchases are handled by Apple and are subject to Apple's terms and refund policies.
- If a subscription ends, nothing you recorded is deleted: your existing budgets and goals keep working, and exporting your whole ledger to a file stays free.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, content, logos and software, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or accurate.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service — including any financial decision taken on the basis of what the app shows. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for it, if any, in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or end the Service, or these Terms, if you breach them or if we discontinue the Service.
11. Apple App Store terms
These Terms are between you and us, not Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. To the extent the app is downloaded from the Apple App Store, your use is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Any maintenance, support and warranty obligations are ours alone, not Apple's.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the country in which GEEKDEV TECHNOLOGIES, SRL is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Nothing in these Terms affects any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.
